Minimal Orchestral is a collection of subtle orchestral compositions for building musical atmosphere in games.
The goal of Minimal Orchestral, is to create mood and atmosphere in a subtle way, without getting in the way of what makes the game unique.
Why so subtle?
Because, often, when I’m working on the music for a game, the most effective music that I end up writing for a project is surprisingly… minimal.
Long, sparse tracks, can be extremely useful for setting the tone of an environment and creating atmosphere in a game.
So, for Minimal Orchestral, my aim was to create a music package that does exactly that. To create extremely useful pieces of ambient and minimal music but to a very high standard, using live performers and professional production techniques.
The result is some of my best work, a music product that makes real sense, created to a standard I’m extremely proud of.
But don’t take my word for it, listen to the collection yourself and read what other people are saying about Minimal Orchestral.
